I've watched and attended sporting events my entire life. Always with an intent interest in the outcome, overcome with joy in victory and sadness in defeat. I love underdog stories, comebacks and upsets above all else. The beauty of sports is it comes down to who wants it most and it's never over til it's over.

I have a bachelor's degree in journalism from SUNY Plattsburgh and have written for newspapers magazines and Web sites for almost 20 years. Shortly after graduating, I traveled the country for a decade covering MMA for Full Contact Fighter, MMAphotography.com, and the Bellator Fighting Championships.

I do have a personal bias for New York sports, specifically the Giants for whom I've been a proud season ticket holder since 2012. The tickets were passed down to me and I have not missed a trip to the Meadowlands since 1996. Go G-MEN!
